Common questions
How are points calculated?
You set points per amount spent and the value of one point, for example 1 point per Rs 100 with each point worth Rs 1. Points are earned on what the customer actually paid.
Can customers use points at the hotel or school?
Yes. Points and cards work at the till, in the online shop, on sales invoices, and at the hotel, travel, school and hospital desks.
How do bank card offers work?
You record each bank and its card ranges and set up the offer. Hayat recognises the card from its first digits, applies the offer, records the bank's share and helps you claim it.
Are gift card balances tracked in the accounts?
Yes. Selling or loading a card is money received, and the balance is held as owed to the customer until the card is used.
Can I limit who gives discounts?
Yes. Each discount reason has a default %, a highest % and whether it needs supervisor approval, and every discount appears in one report and log.
