FAQ
Common questions
Does the POS work without internet?
Yes. The till keeps selling, stores sales on the device and sends them automatically when the connection returns. A banner shows how many sales are waiting.
Is it integrated with FBR?
Yes. With FBR POS switched on, every receipt is reported to FBR in real time and the FBR invoice number and QR code print on the receipt. If FBR doesn't respond, the receipt is queued and retried automatically.
Which payment methods are supported?
Cash, card, mobile wallets, gift vouchers, loyalty points and on-account sales, and you can split a bill across several methods.
What stops cashiers giving unauthorised discounts?
Each cashier has a maximum discount. Price changes, voids, refunds and larger discounts need a manager's PIN at the till.
What hardware does it use?
Each till is set up with a receipt printer and customer display. Barcode scanners type straight into the scan box, and there is an open-drawer action for no-sale cash.
